Hopped over from Wonderful Wednesdays Blog Hop and I’m so glad I did! I have a homemade cleaner for everything EXCEPT the toilet. Ooops, now I do:)

Great recipe. I have to try it since the toilet has been the hardest place to go “green” with my cleaning. The only adjustment I’d make is using a glass bottle since some essential oils will eat through the plastic. Glad I found you on the Wonderful Wednesday blog hop!

please tell me what I am doing wrong. I have mixed these ingredients as you instruct and have a huge mess all over my kitchen from exploding vinegar. and the bottom of my spray bottle is so hot from the chemical reaction that I’m starting to worry. And have a melt down.

Tonya never mix baking soda and vinegar and shake , her instructions so wrong
When vinegar and baking soda is mixed the carbon dioxide bursts or “explodes” when there is no more space for the gas .so never shake or put them together at once , start just pouring vinegar slowly to avoid explosion

I followed instructions but the solution wouldn’t spray out of the spray bottle …

made a double batch to keep on hand and the borax and soda wouldn’t mix into the vinegar and water….
