Did your wife get new plants for Mother’s day? Well, it is a tradition in our home to get mom a new plant each year. It is my job to make sure the plant not only lives but thrives much like she does with the children. They have this great new product out that makes it even easier to achieve success. You no longer have to measure out Miracle Grow. The Miracle-Gro® LiquaFeed® Universal Feeder allows you to feed your plants the right amount of nutrients while you water. Simply attach the feeder to your spigot and you can feed using ANY watering device! I do mean any wait until you see what this do it yourself dad came up with.

What we did to prove that innovation doesn’t have to be expensive. We simple removed our hose. We put on the Miracle-Gro® LiquaFeed on by screwing on the spigot. It took less than a minute. The next thing we did was screw in the feeding bottle. This is great since from now on your will just replace the feeding bottle. The next part is easy. If you want to treat your garden to Miracle-Gro’s LiquaFeed you simply turn the dial to feed. Then you use your hose like normal. That is it.

Now that Spring has quickly come and gone Summer is here, it’s getting hot and the flowers, well they feel left out. I came up with a fun and yet simple way to water my plants without having to stand around and without having to purchase a sprinkler system. So I created my own. We had some pool noodles in our shed and I thought of a great way to repurpose them into a homemade sprinkler system. I just took the pool noodle drilled a few holes in it, duck taped the one end and the other end I placed our hose in the noodle. I turned our hose on low and ta-da! A new and easy way to water our bushes and flowers all Summer long! If it waters, it can now feed. You can add Miracle-Gro inside as well to feed your flowers and plants as well.
