Cleaning Tips Using Ketchup
Cleaning Tips Using Ketchup
How to clean with Ketchup….oh yes you can. What got me to research this was my stainless steel sink was tarnishing in a few areas. So instead of using harsh chemicals I decided to check out natural ways to clean my sink. Not only does ketchup work on my sink but it also works on other things as well so I thought I would share with you all what I learned!
Cleaning Tips Using Ketchup
So like I said my sink in the kitchen was beginning to tarnish so I got out my ketchup bottle and I just lightly covered the sink with a soft scrub brush. Let it sit for just a little while then rinse clean with warm water!!!
You can also use ketchup on your tarnished silver as well! I use to use a really strong silver cleaner but after seeing how well it worked on my sink I have a new cleaner I will be using. Just brush it on and let it sit for about 10 minutes and then rub off with a soft cloth like an old tee shirt and I just threw all silverware in the dishwasher with just the rinse cycle. I have a lot of silverware though.
If you have copper or brass pots and pans this is a keeper for you as well. Just take a damp soft cloth and make circles with your ketchup! In just a few minutes your tarnished pots and pans will look good as new again.
Something else to keep in mind as well, if you every get sprayed by a skunk or your beloved pets and you do not have tomato juice on hand, then Ketchup is the next best thing! Rub it in really well and let it sit as long as you can before rinsing off. And sorry for your luck too.
These are just a few that I know about what do you use ketchup for in your household…besides food? Let me know if you have other cleaning tips!
