How To Clean A Blow Dryer
This is again one of those appliances around the house you hardly or never think to clean. But YES you do need to clean your blow dryer or it will over heat and then a year or two later you are replacing it. Sure they only cost $20 unless you go crazy but why spend the extra money when you can just take about 3 minutes every 2-3 months and follow these 4 steps.
How to clean your blow dryer is and simple as 1, 2, 3 and 4! Let’s blow right through these shall we! HAHA!
Here is what you will need:
- Blow Dryer
- Tooth brush for cleaning
- tweezers or Orange stick
- Please unplug your blow dryer!
- Remove the back of the blow dryer where the air comes in. It either pops off or twist off.
- You can use tweezers, and old toothbrush, orange stick or even your finger nail to scrap off any debris that has been trapped inside.
- Place the cap back on your blow dryer. I usually plug in my dryer and turn it on cool to blow out anything that might have come through!!
See and your are done! Easy enough but just doing this every two months can honestly save you some extra cash you didn’t have to spend by just taking less than 5 minutes of your day every 2 months! If you don’t keep up with this you might end up smelling some nasty odors as well. That is no fun either. Or it could even cause a fire if it got bad enough! No one wants that!
